I've finished up turning my little Series #1 stitched pieces into glass pieces. The heart (Amor) was turned into a necklace, which I've worn to the shop a couple of times. The other pieces, which I'll provide pictures for later, are intended to be something I can hang like an ornament.
French Country - Love is the next piece I've finished and it's a preview of the first color in Series #2 (Aubergine). Again this is stitched on 40 count Graziano linen over 1 thread. It too will get turned into a necklace when I have some spare time.

About the Society
We are a collection of five needlework shops with a love of fine needlework, for our customers and ourselves. We are pleased to be bringing a new thread to those who love fine work; hand-dyed Soie Surfine. It is being hand-dyed exclusively for us by Gloriana Threads and is not available anywhere else.
Soie Surfine is a 130/2 silk thread from Au ver à Soie®, similar in twist to their popular Soie 100/3 but much finer. It stitches up wonderfully on 40 and 45 count linen.
Our hand-dyed Soie Surfine is only available through Society Member shops. Our subscription series feature five thread colors and a custom dyed linen color from Lakeside Linens for Society Subscribers. Your subscription to a series will entitle you to one skein of each silk color and one piece of our fabric selection (you can specify 40 or 45 count). We release one item approximately every 2 months for a total of 6 shipments (5 threads and 1 fabric).
